Two men were found fatally stabbed Thursday morning in a van that crashed into a car parked in the driveway of a Mission Hills home.
Police said the owner of the home found one of the stabbing victims sitting in the driver’s seat of the van when she went outside to investigate the 6 a.m. crash.
He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital but died of his wounds Thursday afternoon. A second victim, found by police in the back of the van, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the man in the driver’s seat as David Hernandez, 33, of Azusa. The identity of the other man was withheld until his relatives could be notified.
Los Angeles homicide Detective Al Ferrand said he had not developed a theory of what happened inside the van.
