Richard M. Cannon has joined the Watson Land Co., Los Angeles, as executive vice president. He joins the firm after 15 years of service with the Irvine Co.

Austris J. Vitols, president of architecture and engineering of Hope Consulting Group, San Diego, also assumes responsibility as director of design. He previously served as chief designer of Hope’s San Francisco office.
