Rancho Mirage Single-Family Houses to Have Opening Today

Mission Estates, 66 single-family detached homes being developed by Coats Enterprises Inc., opens today with nine homes in Rancho Mirage on Gerald Ford Drive across from the Mission Hills Country Club.
Priced from $189,000 to $269,000, the homes are available in three single-story floor plans with two or three bedrooms and 2 1/2 or 3 baths in 1,774 to 2,477 square feet of space.
Some view sites are being offered in the $16.5-million, gated neighborhood, and there will be a community swimming pool, spa, tennis courts and cabanas. The monthly homeowners fee will start at $125.37 and is expected to be reduced to $107.73 in the final phase.
Designed by Calderon Nakamura Associates of Irvine, the homes are detailed in a contemporary Mediterranean theme with clay tile roofs and textured stucco. Among the interior features will be vaulted ceilings, tile or wood entries, wood-burning fireplaces, intercoms and central vacuum systems.
Models designed by Creative Design Consultants and a sales office are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. First move-ins are scheduled in July.
