A park-like recreation area with swimming pools, tennis courts and a waterfall is featured at Acacia Park, an Upland development of 154 single-family houses opening today.

Developed by Acacia Construction Co., the project opens with a 34-unit phase of two- and three-bedroom houses in four single-level plans with 1,120 to 1,575 square feet, priced from $97,900 to $119,900. Move-ins are scheduled for May 1 and eight houses have been sold.

Designed by the Newport Beach architectural firm of Richardson Nagy Martin, the houses feature sloping ceilings, central air conditioning, wood-burning fireplaces and breakfast nooks.
