Seven members of the clergy were among 14 people arrested at the San Francisco Federal Building during a demonstration against U. S. policy in Central America. The clergy members and two protesters were taken into custody for staging a sit-in in the building’s lobby. The other seven were arrested for blocking entrances to the facility. All were booked for investigation of misdemeanor charges and released. About 100 people participated in the demonstration, which began in a plaza outside the building with singing.
