With the sale of 60 residences, McMillin Development sold more homes in February than during any month in the 25-year history of the company, and one of the surprises was that the firm’s highest-priced development, Hunter’s Pointe at Scripps Ranch North (where prices range from $175,900 to $268,900), was the best seller.
Fourteen of the 16 homes released at prices from $117,990 to $145,990 were sold during the Fieldstone Co.’s Fieldstone-Penasquitos Phase II-A opening in Rancho Penasquitos. The opening was accompanied by a 21-day camp-out by families wanting priority selection.
Forty-eight homes were sold in three weeks at Griffin Homes’ Country Park Villas, a town-house project in Phillips Ranch in Pomona where prices range from $96,950 to $102,950.
During the first two months of this year, Deane Homes sold 25 homes in three single-family home communities in Southern California, where prices ranged from $89,990 to $178,990.
Thirteen of the 24 homes released in Phase IV-A at the Douglas Allred Co.’s Avocado Village attached homes in Rancho San Diego were sold on a single day at prices from $62,990 to $87,990.
