The current increase in new housing activity continues in San Diego County, with both prices and number of sales reported up, in a monthly survey published by the Goodkin Group and sponsored by Founders Title Co.
The survey, called Insites, said the median price of detached homes was $135,100 in February, up from January’s $133,493, while that of condominium and other attached units rose to $95,925 from $93,475.
Sales were strong, the survey said, with single-family home sales averaging 1.4 per development per week. Thirty-seven projects in the county, more than 10% of those surveyed, averaged sales of three or more per week.
