Tully, Petranoff to Compete Today in Meet at UCLA

Mike Tully and Tom Petranoff, American record-holders in the pole vault and javelin, respectively, will compete today at UCLA in a track meet involving current Bruins, alumni and club athletes.
The meet will begin at 1 p.m., and there will be no admission charge.
Other invited athletes include high hurdler Tonie Campbell, a 1984 Olympian; intermediate hurdler Andre Phillips; high jumper Del Davis, and half-miler David Mack.
USC’s track team will compete in the El Paso Invitational Sunday. Olympians Calvin Smith, Kirk Baptiste and Bert Cameron will be among world-class athletes in the meet.
