Yale President Plans to Leave Job Next Year

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A. Bartlett Giamatti, the 19th president of Yale University, announced Monday that he will leave the post next year.
Giamatti, 47, said he plans to take a year off after leaving Yale. He has been president since 1977.
