The motorcyclist, Eddie J. Flores, 21, also of Santa Ana, was struck and killed in the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Greenville Street at 10 p.m. Sunday by a van making a left-hand turn, Police Sgt. Jay McDonald said.
The driver of the 1972 Dodge van, identified as Robert S. Perez, 52, of Santa Ana, was being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail, McDonald said.
