An 18-year-old Westminster man was arrested in connection with an incident in which two masked gunman entered a residence and gunned down a 35-year-old Vietnamese, Westminster police said. Lt. Michael Ratliff said Hieu Tran was arrested as he left a Westminister residence about 9:30 p.m. Tran was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Dung Sam, 35, of Westminster, Ratliff said. Sam was killed April 19 by two masked gunmen in an apartment after he answered a door during a card game. Tran was taken to Orange County Jail where he was booked in connection with the shooting.
