7 Wounded as Neighbor Fires Shotgun at Party

WAGGAMAN, La. — Six brothers and a friend were wounded, one of them critically, when a neighbor fired five shotgun blasts at an outdooor party Saturday night, sheriff’s deputies said.
Lawrence R. Fagan, 61, was booked on seven counts of attempted murder and held at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. No motive for the shootings was disclosed.
