FOR THE BOOK

As one of the four people who read the Sunday Book Review section, I want Richard W. Quinn (Calendar Letters, May 5) to know that I too am ecstatic: that I can now find this intelligent and informative section readily without having to fish it out, upside down, from its encasement in 98 pages of hype ‘n’ tripe.
On most Sundays the only redeeming features of this latter section are Feiffer and a hilarious last page wherein readers painstakingly delineate the minute differences between the rock groups like the Schnitzelbangers and the Innerear Drumsplitters as if it mattered a damn.
