CALIFORNIA - News from May 15, 1985
California First Bank, San Francisco, announced that President and Chief Executive Yasushi Sumiya will resign later this month to return to Japan and the bank’s parent company, Bank of Tokyo.
He is expected to be replaced by Seishichi Itoh, currently executive vice president of the California bank.
