Sen. Exon Leaves Hospital

WASHINGTON — Sen. J. James Exon (D-Neb.) was discharged from Bethesda Naval Hospital today after recuperating from surgery to remove his gallbladder. Exon, who underwent surgery May 8, made rapid progress and will continue his post-operative recovery at home, according to doctors. A statement from Exon’s office said the senator plans to return to his Senate duties Monday on a limited basis.
