Soviets Launch 3 Cosmos Satellites

MOSCOW — The Soviet Union launched three satellites Saturday to complement a space navigation system for Soviet civil airliners and merchant ships, the official Tass news agency reported.
Tass said Cosmos 1650, 1651 and 1652 were all launched from the same rocket into near-circular orbits. Their systems were working normally.
