Thirty-six of the 61 custom home sites in Bear Brand Ranch at Laguna Niguel have been sold, according to sales director Kate Heppler. Lots range in size from 11,229 square feet to just over one acre, with 8,000-to-21,536-square-foot building pads. Prices at the coastal community range from $160,000 to $290,000.
As part of its grand opening celebration, the Oasis Country Club in Palm Desert is offering home buyers four “buyer bonus” plans. These purchase options, which are worth up to $10,000, will offer buyers the option of having their new homes completely furnished “from furniture to kitchen utensils, at no added charge,” according to Theresa Doyle, marketing director of Covington Homes, the community’s developer.
More than 60% of the homes under construction in Phase 5 of Rancho Santa Fe Vista, a single-family home community in Encinitas, have been sold. The homes range in size from 1,610 to 2,321 square feet and are priced between $150,000 and $197,000.
All 509 units at Encino Oaks, one of Los Angeles’ first cooperative projects, have been sold. In 1984, Encino Oaks sold approximately $40 million worth of units.
