Glasgow May Boast Biggest Marathon Field

GLASGOW, Scotland — Glasgow expects to overtake London and New York as the world’s biggest marathon attraction later this year.
Organizers of the event expect nearly 20,000 people to run on Sept. 22. The recent London marathon had 16,500 runners and last year’s New York run had 15,000.
