Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, Prince Saud al Faisal, ended a two-day visit to Tehran by calling for better Saudi-Iranian relations, the official Iranian news agency reported. The prince, on his first visit to Tehran since the overthrow of the late shah in 1979, held talks with President Ali Khamenei and Prime Minister Hussein Moussavi on bilateral issues and Iran’s 4 1/2-year war with Iraq.
