Micro D Inc., a Santa Ana wholesale distributor of microcomputer hardware, has elected Linwood A. Lacy Jr. to its board of directors. Lacy, senior vice president of marketing for Best Products and a former Micro D general manager and chief operating officer, replaces Fredrick R. Alder, who has resigned from the Micro D board.

Liberty Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Philip S. Inglee has been named the Los Angeles SBA District Financial Services Advocate of the Year by the Small Business Administration. The annual award is given for special efforts to assist deserving small businesses in obtaining financing or for advocating changes within the financial services industry. During 1984, Huntington Beach-based Liberty Bank became the sixth largest producer of SBA loans of all commercial banks in the country.
