A 28-year-old Jamul woman was killed when the small pickup truck she was driving careened off Skyline Truck Trail, near Lawson Valley Road in Jamul, Deputy Coroner Jack Laird said. Nancy Jane Bartolotta was taken by Life Flight helicopter to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A California Highway Patrol spokesman said the woman was traveling west on Skyline Truck Trail when she missed a turn and went off the road.
