Macho Sex Symbol to Have Vasectomy : 7 Wives Back His Decision: 22 Children Enough

BANGKOK, Thailand — Meatball vendor Tek Kor, Thailand’s notoriously macho sex symbol, said today that he’s decided to call it quits. After taking on seven wives and fathering 22 children, he’s having a vasectomy.

Five of Tek Kor’s wives and about a dozen of his children were at the news conference, which was called by delighted population control expert Mechai Viravaidhya.

Reporters were served Tek Kor’s meatballs, which he says are the source of his virility.

Also on hand was a fortune teller, who said all the stars were against Tek Kor’s having any more wives or children and solemnly cast Tek Kor’s horoscope and set July 4 as the most auspicious date for the vasectomy.

Tek Kor, 44, renowned throughout Thailand for his delicious meatballs, among other things, said he decided to have “his wings clipped” for economic reasons.

He can’t afford any more children on a meatball vendor’s income and a vasectomy is a lot cheaper than providing all his wives with contraception, he said.

The Thai Casanova said he decided to undergo a vasectomy operation in consultation with his seven wives. “It was a unanimous decision,” he said.
