Panel Approves Extension of Daylight Saving Time

WASHINGTON — The House energy conservation subcommittee approved a measure Wednesday that would extend daylight-saving time by beginning it on the third Sunday in March and ending it on the first Sunday in November. The bill now goes to the full House Energy and Commerce Committee.
