Colton’s Faria Wins Speedway Main Event

Mike Faria of Colton won the scratch main event of the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program Friday night in front of 6,902 in the Orange County Fairgrounds at Costa Mesa.
Mike Mazzacane of Riverside won the handicap main event, and Moose Kennedy of Hawaiian Gardens won the second-division main event and Wayne Silman of Orange the third-division main event.
