Land Purchased for 194 Apartment Units

James C. Ruane has bought 14 acres of residential land at the southwest corner of Bancroft Street and Valencia Drive in Spring Valley, plus an escrow option, from Robert L. Turek for $2.2 million.
According to Commercial Investment Services of San Diego, which represented both parties, Ruane plans to develop 97 duplex units for a total of 194 two-bedroom, two-bath apartments that will be offered for either sale or rent.
