Rosscomp Names Fosberg CEO
Rosscomp Corp., a Costa Mesa computer parts maker, has named James C. Fosberg president and chief executive. Fosberg, who has more than 20 years of executive experience in the computer industry, was formerly chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Irvine-based Trilog Inc. Fosberg replaces Rod Hosilyk, who will remain with the company as vice chairman.
In an unrelated announcement, Rosscomp said it has completed a financing agreement with a group of venture capital shareholders that could provide the company as much as $1.5 million in additional working capital. A company spokesman said the additional financing will allow Rosscomp to meet current working capital requirements and continue marketing and producing its computer memory system components.
Kierulff Electronics, Cypress, named John S. Abram executive vice president and chief operating officer. The position had been vacant since the March departure of Ralph Ozorkiewicz.
Kierulff is a major division of Los Angeles-based Ducommun Inc.
