Regan’s Financial Disclosure Confirms He’s a Millionaire
WASHINGTON — White House Chief of Staff Donald T. Regan’s financial disclosure form confirmed today that he is a multimillionaire who has accumulated private pension funds of more than $700,000.
Regan also listed stocks and money funds for 1984 ranging from Walt Disney Productions to the Marriott Corp. The disclosure form, which covers the year Regan was still Treasury secretary, is mandatory for top government executives.
Regan also has money in a blind trust, including $95,498 listed as “deferred payment of Merrill Lynch and Co. Inc., incentive compensation.” He is a former chairman of the Merrill Lynch board.
