U.S. and Costa Rica Soccer Teams Play

The United States will play Costa Rica tonight at 8 at El Camino College Stadium in Torrance in a qualifying game for the 1986 World Cup soccer tournament in Mexico.

The United States needs either a victory or a tie to advance to the next round against Canada and Honduras. Costa Rica, which was held to a 1-1 tie by the United States in Costa Rica last Sunday, must win or be eliminated.

The game will be televised at 9 p.m. on ESPN and 11 p.m. on Channel 34.
