As many as 22 more bodies may have been buried at a Calaveras County cabin where authorities have already unearthed the remains of three people, the Associated Press reported. Based on evidence found at the retreat, as many as 25 people are missing and may have been killed, San Francisco Police Chief Cornelius Murphy said. The deaths have been linked to self-styled survivalist Leonard Lake, who committed suicide in police custody last Thursday, and Charles Chatt Ng, an ex-convict who was associated with Lake, who is being sought. Investigators have unearthed a “truck-load of bones” at the site, said Calaveras County Sheriff Claud Ballard.
