Taking Sides on Abortion Issue

Once again The Times--in the interest of fairness, one supposes--juxtaposes anti-choice and pro-choice articles on the same page (“Science and Law Agree: A Fetus Is Not a Baby,” by Dr. Alex Gerber, and “Fighting the Abortion Sentimentalists,” by Cal Thomas, Opinion, May 26). Being open-minded (and curious), I read both.
Once again, I was impressed by the compassionate, intelligent approach of the pro-choice advocate. Once again, I was dismayed and disgusted by the simplistic, intolerant, reactionary views of the anti-choice proponent.
Thanks, anti-choice people, for once again making it so easy for me to remain pro-choice.
