New Zealand Prime Minister David Lange said that his country intends to continue support for the ANZUS treaty, despite the U.S. decision to redice defense cooperation because of Lang’s refusal allow U.S. nuclear ships to call at New Zealand ports. ANZUS is an acronym for Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
