Scholarship Fund Established
A scholarship fund for design students at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles has been established in the name of Hollywood costume designer Charles LeMaire, who died June 8 in Palm Springs. LeMaire’s career spanned 68 years, during which time he won three Academy Awards. Contributions, payable to FIDM Scholarship Foundation Inc., may be sent to the foundation at 818 West 7th St., Los Angeles, Calif. 90017.
