Burbank City Attorney Gets Post Permanently
Doug Holland, a senior assistant city attorney for Burbank who has been acting city attorney since May, on Monday got the city’s top legal job permanently.
The City Council gave the city attorney’s job to Holland, 35, whose former boss, Andrew Lazzaretto, resigned under pressure from a newly constituted council headed by Mayor Mary Lou Howard.

A former Burbank city attorney was incorrectly identified in an article Tuesday as Andrew Lazzaretto. He is a former Burbank city manager. The former city attorney is William Rudell.
Holland, who lives in Moorpark, has been working in Burbank more than two years. Before that he was as an assistant city attorney for Fresno.
