As a constant reader, I was shocked and disgusted at your giving publicity to the Cafe Bohemia in Chicago (Sutton, July 7), which serves endangered wildlife on its menu. As an active conservationist and lover of all wildlife, I cannot condone serving our animals to satiate the appetites of a bored and pampered clientele. Where killing is necessary for the subsistence of native tribes, I can accept, but the blatant reduction of our ever-decreasing stock of beautiful wild animals to satisfy the whims of an overrich, overindulged society is beyond my understanding.
