20-30 Die in Train Collision in France

ARGENON-SUR-CREUSE, France — About 20 to 30 people were killed and scores injured today when a mail train plowed into a derailed passenger express, local officials said.
The Transport Ministry said the collision occurred near this town, about 150 miles southwest of Pariss, when the two rear cars of a northbound train traveling to Paris from Port de Bouc, near Marseilles, derailed and were struck by a southbound train traveling on a parallel track.
