Saudi Jetliner Catches Fire

KHARTOUM, Sudan — An engine of a wide-bodied Saudi Arabian jetliner carrying 268 people caught fire, and one man was injured when he jumped from the plane without emergency equipment, airport officials said. They added that the engine fire, which broke out Saturday just before the Saudi A-300 Airbus touched down here, was quickly extinguished.
