Anaheim : Fire of Unknown Cause Damages 2 Businesses

A fire of undetermined origin caused $500,000 damage early Sunday to a business complex in the 200 block of Euclid Way, Anaheim firefighters reported. There were no injuries.
Capt. Roger Smith said the major damage was at two adjoining businesses, picoFarad Electronic Manufacturers and Olsen’s Danish Bakery, both at 237 Euclid Way.
Smith said the fire, which was reported at 7:28 a.m., also caused slight damage to two adjoining structures. Seventeen units, including one from Buena Park, responded to the blaze, and it was brought under control in about an hour, Smith said.
Smith said the cause of the fire was under investigation. He estimated the damages at $200,000 to the structures and $300,000 to contents.
