TOKYO — A Tokyo court ruled today that two American Hells Angels sought by U.S. authorities on drug charges should be extradited to the United States.
Herbert Kittel, 34, and Charles Zito, 32, had been detained since July 22 after a request from U.S. authorities.
A U.S. court issued a warrant for their arrest in May on a charge of possessing the stimulant methamphetamine last November.
The two men were said to be members of the California-based Hells Angels motorcycle group, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office said.
