Donald Curry, the World Boxing Assn. champion, will meet Milton McCrory, the World boxing Council champion, in a welterweight unification bout Dec. 6 at the Las Vegas Hilton, promoter Bob Arum announced Thursday.

Curry, 24, has a 23-0 record and has defended his title four times. The last two bouts for the Fort Worth fighter were non-title matches. Curry’s last title defense was in January, when he knocked out Colin Jones of Britain in the fourth round.

McCrory, 23 from Detroit, has a 27-0-1 record with 22 knockouts. He won his title in August 1983 and has retained it three times. McCrory’s last title bout was July 14, when he stopped Carlos Trujillo in the third round.
