USIU’s Laurett Maritz Wins Golf Tournament
Laurett Maritz, a junior from United States International University, was declared the winner of the Nancy Lopez Invitational women’s collegiate golf tournament Friday when the third--and final--round was rained out in Tulsa.
Maritz had a three-over-par total of 145 for 36 holes when heavy rains canceled play at Cedar Ridge Country Club.
USIU finished sixth in the team standings with a 629 total.
