Lee Iacocca, the Columnist
Having read Iacocca’s column, I find myself angry and bewildered. Angry because we are a populace that wants a “free lunch” (as Iacocca put it) and bewildered because his ideas are extremely clear, yet no one seems to understand them.
I wholeheartedly agree with Iacocca and support his views. I feel his ideas are basic, well thought-out and farsighted and I look forward to reading more of his articles. Although, after reading his column thoroughly, I found that there is one thing lacking in his outcry for public awareness: an intelligent public.
