Grande Is Named Bonita Vista Coach

CHULA VISTA — John Grande is back as head basketball coach at Bonita Vista High School.
Grande, who replaced David Ybarra, previously coached the Baron varsity from 1979-82. He also served as Bonita Vista’s junior varsity coach from the school’s inception in 1966 through ’78.
The varsity job opened last month when Ybarra succeeded Gary Zarecky at Sweetwater.
