One of the victims of New York subway gunman Bernhard H. Goetz said he does not want the so-called vigilante to go to jail for shooting him and three other youths. Goetz, 38, who is awaiting trial on attempted murder and illegal weapons possession charges, said he was “stunned” by the statement. In an interview with Cable News Network in the jail where he is awaiting trial on rape charges, James Ramseur, 19, said he believed Goetz thought he was going to be robbed.
