Drunk Drivers Targeted: If you’re full of holiday alcoholic spirits, you’d better not drive in Fountain Valley. Acting Police Chief William DeNisi said the city has stepped up its “DUI (driving under the influence) enforcement.” DeNisi said the holiday season crackdown on drunk drivers “runs through the entire month of December.” He pointed out that special enforcement during the 1984 holiday season resulted in the arrest of 97 drunk drivers.
