Being a Ram Follower Means Never Having to Say You’re Sorry
Why is that a professional unit composed of All-Pro linemen, one of the best running backs ever to play the game and several speedy, young receivers is such an embarrassment?
In my opinion, the major blame rests with the coaches. Week after week, they go with the same dull, unimaginative, one-dimensional game plan, seemingly running the same half-dozen plays over and over again into defenses that seem to know exactly what is coming.
Back when the team won its first seven games, Ram coaches wondered why the team hadn’t earned any respect. Well, we fans seem to have been right all along. Unfortunately for us, as long as John Robinson and Dieter Brock keep kissing up to Ram owner Georgia Frontiere, nothing much will change.
