Howe to Make 3-Day Visit to Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — British Foreign Secretary Geoffrey Howe will begin a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia on Jan. 13, an official announcement said Thursday.
It said his talks with Prince Saud al Faisal, the Saudi foreign minister, will cover regional and bilateral issues. Diplomatic sources said that Howe also planned to visit Kuwait and Oman. He last visited the Persian Gulf in 1984.
