The Los Angeles law firm of Munger, Tolles & Rickershauser has been renamed Munger, Tolles & Olson to reflect the addition of Ronald L. Olson as partner.
Olson, 44, a business litigator, formerly was chairman of the litigation section of the American Bar Assn. and is on the board of governors of the State Bar of California. He is also chairman of the board of trustees of Claremont Graduate School.
Charles E. Rickershauser Jr., who remained with the firm while serving as chairman of the Pacific Stock Exchange, last month announced his resignation to become a partner in Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, a law firm with offices in New York and Washington that is opening a West Coast office in Los Angeles.
