For those who are afraid to admit publicly that Emperor Spielberg’s “Amazing Stories” are anything but, my son and I have written the following. Sung to the tune of “Amazing Grace,” it allows one to say it like it is, while still seeming to pay homage to a current media deity.
Amazing Stories, How pointless they be;
So boring, as you can see.
I once was hooked, but now I’m not.
It’s “Murder She Wrote” for me.
We loved St. Steven years ago,
For “Raiders” and “E.T.”
He’s laughing now, for two full years.
But the joke is on NBC. TERRY and MATTHEW SNYDER
