U.S. Jet Crashes Off Japan

TOKYO — A U.S. Navy electronic reconnaissance jet on a routine training flight crashed into the Pacific south of Tokyo but all three crewmen aboard were rescued, a U.S. spokesman said Tuesday. The report said the EA-6B Prowler went down Monday about 80 miles south of Atsugi Naval Air Station, west of Tokyo.
