Eric Fischer snapped a 3-3 tie in the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. Moorpark’s Bob Ayrault pitched his fourth complete game.

High School Track

The Simi Valley boys and Thousand Oaks girls track teams turned in impressive performances in a Marmonte League dual meet at Simi Valley on Tuesday. Simi Valley defeated Thousand Oaks, 93-34, in the boys competition, and Thousand Oaks won the girls meet, 115-13. Both teams are 3-0.
